Feruza lives with her mother, and a sibling in a vulnerable community of Addis Ababa. Sadly, her father abandoned the family and her mother is married to her step father. Feruza's step father doesn't have a job and her mother's income is very low and inconsistent even though she works hard as a daily laborer. Feruza's mother earnings are not enough to meet their needs and she cannot afford to pay her school fees.
