Mikias lives with his parents in Addis Ababa, in a vulnerable area of the city where access to resources is limited. His parents do their best to care for Mikias and his two siblings, but struggle to survive off a limited income and unstable housing. Without support, Mikias is at continued risk of hacing to give up his education to begin providing support for his family at a young age.
