Maruf lives with his parents and siblings in a vulnerable community of Addis Ababa. His father is retired and his mother struggles to provide for the family on her own. Although Maruf's mother works to bring income through petty trading, her earnings are not enough to meet the family's needs and she cannot afford to pay his school fees. Without support, Maruf's education is at risk.
