Biruk lives with his mother in a vulnerable community of Addis Ababa. Sadly, his father is not present in the family's lives and his mother struggles to provide for the family on her own. Biruk's mother has a medical and condition and her earning is not enough to meet the family's needs and she cannot afford to pay for his school fees. Without support, Biruk's education is at risk.
