Yordanos lives with his mother a small village in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. Sadly, his father abandoned the family, leaving Yordanos' mother to provide for the family on her own. Her earnings doing housework for families around the community are meager and she struggles to meet the family's needs. Without support, they cannot afford school fees, putting Yordanos' education at risk.
